SLOPE is building the design and marketing agency of the future. We’re former Y-Combinator and venture-backed founders that decided to create the agency we wish we had when we were building our own businesses.

Most agencies run on outdated models and structures inherited from the advertising giants of the past, and are optimized for working with large, corporate clients. Over time, these structures and processes have ossified and become the norm in the industry. We felt there was an opportunity to do something different.

We’ve built our agency from the ground up to work with the world’s most innovative startups. We’ve shed away unnecessary process and large corporate clients in favor of working with companies we believe are changing the world from the ground up. From real estate tech, to plant-based chicken nuggets, to cryptocurrency projects - the horizon for the industries and people our work touches is endlessly broad.

We’re looking for someone incredible to help drive this vision working directly with our founder. You’ll be externally leading projects with Clients and internally managing web and brand designers. You are sharp, digitally-native, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll do

As part of this role, you'll have the opportunity to build out and lead an internal team of brand and web designers. You'll have a direct impact in making decisions on how to grow out the team so that we can continue delivering killer work for our Clients.

You'll be a player-coach - you're not afraid to get your hands dirty in design work and lead by example, but also understand the best ways to allocate your time and responsibilities.

You'll be an effective and great communicator with Clients - showcasing and pitching work, effectively distilling complex and nuanced Client feedback for the design team, and working with our Project Managers Alex & Brooke to make sure projects stay on schedule.

Who You Are

3+ years working in a design studio or in-house environment

Confidence in strong Client-facing communication skills

Deep knowledge across brand strategy and design, web design, marketing design, and the creative process.

Versatile portfolio that spans across brand and web work.

Proficiency in modern design tools (Adobe CC, Figma, etc.)
